Jung-Ho Pak, Conductor Cotuit Center for the Arts, Guest Artist Partner Follow the yellow brick road! In this rare concert presentation, the Cape Symphony partners with Cotuit Center for the Arts to perform the original lush Harold Arlen score and the script of “The Wizard of Oz.”
Actors will read the script and sing the songs from the 1939 movie, standing on stage with the orchestra. Our production will be based on the 1995 television presentation, "The Wizard of Oz in Concert," starring singer Jewel as Dorothy, Jackson Browne as the Scarecrow, Roger Daltrey as the Tin Man, and Nathan Lane as the Cowardly Lion. You can watch a video of the original TNT broadcast on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixa9jI5XMTs
